I wanted to share with you the real reason why my family and I packed up and moved to Dubai…
To set the scene, we’ve just arrived in Dubai, and it’s a scorching 27 degrees outside. This is a significant change from the cold and wet weather back home in Wales, where the first sign of rain would have me locking myself indoors. But the weather is just one of the many reasons why we decided to make the move.
To be honest, I was getting bored with our situation. I love my life and the people around us, but I was tired of our routine. Day in and day out, we were doing the same thing, and we were spending most of our time indoors. I knew deep down that I was meant for more, and I was ready to embrace a new adventure.
Over the last two years, both my partner Ben and I have seen our businesses grow and thrive. This gave us the opportunity to design a life on our own terms, full of excitement, adventure, and freedom. For us, this meant:
- Being in the sunshine all year round
- Experiencing more ‘fuck it’ moments
- Creating more memories as a family
- Giving our children an outdoor lifestyle
- Never having to worry or stress about money
- Creating more wealth
- Building more connections all over the world
We didn’t want to wait for the perfect moment. We didn’t want to keep saying, “We’ll do it next year.” We took action and made things happen. We got our four-month-old daughter Indie a passport and started the visa process. And now, we’re here, living our dream.
I want to remind you that you can make anything happen. You just have to take that first step. Don’t wait for the perfect moment or for everything to fall into place. Sometimes, you just have to take a leap of faith and trust that everything will work out.
I’m so excited to hear more laughter from my daughters, to have a permanent tan, and to live life to the fullest. We’re embracing every opportunity and living each day with gratitude and joy. I hope our story inspires you to take your own leap of faith and create the life you’ve always wanted.
